Well I walk into the bar room

& I play some rusty gospel tunes

But the people they don't understand

They are waiting for a rock'n'roll band

All the ladies they do scream & shout

When I tell them what it's all about

Stop your boozing, open your ears

Praise the Lord, water is the new beer

Now you people see for what I'm sent

I'm a Keller gospel one man band

Guess Sid Vicious he is doin well

Heaven's darkroom or lighthouse of hell

But the eighties they're all dead & gone

Sex & drugs ain't gonna be no fun

Now the time has come for new rock'n'roll

For the gospel trumpet swing & blow
